When to use an estimate
Use an estimate when the final price may change after scope, materials, hours, or approval details are confirmed.
Estimate details
- Client and business details.
- Estimated services or products.
- Validity date, assumptions, and payment terms.
- Email draft support so you can send the estimate through your own mail app.
- Clear wording that it is not a final tax invoice unless local rules say otherwise.
After the client approves
Restore the saved estimate from browser history, change the document type to Invoice, confirm the final quantities and tax, then download or print the final invoice for your records.
